James 2:15-16
15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well-fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
We are a non-profit organization and group of believers, called to pray, intercede, and fill in the gaps, in one another's spiritual armor. It means to expose one's self, for the protection of something; to make defense against any assailing danger; to take the place of a fallen defender or supporter. Gap represents a place of weakness, vulnerability & danger. Gaps exist in our churches, communities, & our homes. When the gaps in our lives are attacked, we can become overwhelmed, but thank God for his Grace.
Standing in the Gap Community Outreach, will offer a 6-12 month transformation program, that provides, food, clothing, mental and spiritual awareness, education & work force skills, which will include mock interviews.
Upon Completion of the program, they will receive a Graduation, Cap and Gown, along with resources for medical, dental, transportation and meal vouchers, free phone services, and employment assistance, to ultimately help them, in reclaiming their lives.
